Iran Press/ Middle East: The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) on Tuesday strongly condemned the ongoing crimes committed by Israeli occupation forces, specifically highlighting the recent heinous act that resulted in the death of Mohammed Al-Tamimi, a two-year-old Palestinian child who was shot in the head.
In a statement, the OIC firmly asserted that this crime is just one in a series of continuous Israeli atrocities against the Palestinian people, including children. Shockingly, this year alone, no fewer than 28 children have lost their lives at the hands of the Israeli occupation.
In response to this grave violation, the OIC calls for an independent and fair international probe into the incident. Additionally, they emphasize the urgent need to hold the Israeli occupation accountable for all its violations, which amount to war crimes.
The OIC further stresses the necessity of providing international protection for the Palestinian people and enforcing the relevant resolutions of international legitimacy.
The OIC’s strong condemnation reflects the collective outrage within the international community regarding the escalating violence and loss of innocent lives in the occupied Palestinian territories. The organization stands firm in its commitment to achieving justice, promoting peace, and ending the ongoing oppression and suffering of the Palestinian people.
