Iran Press/ Iran News: Foulad Nab Tabriz Steel Company in East Azarbaijan province has been operationalized in 2005 with the aim of supplying the chain of steel products required by Iranian industries and by using modern equipment and the efforts of domestic experts, and in addition to meeting domestic needs, also exports to target markets.
Karim Rahimi, CEO of Foulad Nab Tabriz, in an interview with Iran Press in Tabriz (northwestern Iran) about the company's production and exports, clarified that the current production capacity of Foulad Nab Tabriz steel Co.is 450,000 tons of various steel products per year.
Regarding the importance of the markets of neighboring countries and strengthening the policy of neighborhood diplomacy in increasing Iran's exports, the CEO of Foulad Nab Tabriz steel company stated that the most important export destination of this company's products is neighboring countries, and its products are exported to 15 neighboring countries.
Steel production is known as the brightest industrial sector in Iran, so steel production capacity in the country is currently announced as 42 million tons per year, and reaching this amount of production to 55 million tons in 1404 (2026) is targeted.
