Iran Press/ Middle East: "The most beautiful aspect of this event was the political opening of Iraq in the international and regional arena along with welcoming the Arab countries," Muqtada al-Sadr tweeted on Sunday.
Muqtada al-Sadr has stressed that the hosting of the summit in Iraq was flexible, which is very important from an economic and security point of view, and clearly shows the importance of Iraq in the region and the importance of its sovereignty and leadership in all areas.
The head of the Sadr Movement said that the Baghdad conference was a fraternal meeting before it was a political meeting or anything else, so the enemy will never be able to erase it in word or deed.
The Baghdad summit was held on Saturday in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, with the participation of nine countries: Egypt, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Qatar, the UAE, Kuwait, Turkey and France.
Participants in the meeting praised the efforts and sacrifices of Iraqis in the fight against terrorism and stressed the need to oppose any form of terrorism.
