Iran Press/ Iran news: Iranian Energy Minister Reza Ardakanian, during the 13th meeting of the Iran-Tajikistan Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation said on Monday: "The atmosphere of development of relations between the two countries has become more positive than past, and Tajikistan should therefore, take more effective measures to develop relations with Iran."
Ardakanian who is the head of this round of meeting, cited efforts to develop banking and educational cooperation and efforts to facilitate the activity of Iranian investors in Tajikistan as examples of measures that Tajikistan should take to develop relations, Iran Press reported.
During the meeting, the Minister of Energy and Water Resources of the Republic of Tajikistan, Osman Ali Osmanzadeh said, "The level of trade between Iran and Tajikistan is low, adding that due to the high capacities of the two countries, these exchanges will increase further."
