Tehran (IP) - The Minister of Economy announced that Iranian banks are no longer loss-makers.

Iran PressIran news: In a press briefing following the government's weekly meeting, Ehsan Khandouzi stated that all banks in Iran, with the exception of Sepeh Bank, have managed to overcome their financial losses.

Khandouzi expressed hope that Sepeh Bank will also be able to achieve this by the end of the current year, provided they implement proper planning.

The minister added that Iranian banks had losses of 500 billion tomans before this, but today they have reached 70 thousand tomans.

The minister stated that previously, Iranian banks had incurred losses of 500 billion tomans. However, today, their losses have shrunk to 70 thousand billion tomans.
