Konya(IP) - Some of Rumi's lovers and tourists in Konya, Türkiye, announced the tomb of this poet as a symbol of the beauty and culture of Konya.

Iran PressAsia: Jalal al-Din Muhammad Rumi (Balkhi), (Mowlana/Mawlana) but more popularly known as Rumi, was a 13th-century Persian poet, Islamic scholar, and theologian originally from Greater Khorasan in Greater Iran. 

The Masnavi, or Mathnawi, is an extensive poem written in Persian by Rumi. The Masnavi is one of the most influential works of Rumi. Many commentators have viewed it as the greatest mystical poem in world literature. 

Tourists who loved Rumi and traveled from around the world to visit the tomb of the Iranian poem in Konya told Iran Press that they considered Rumi's Masnavi full of his love for God and Divine Prophets.

The critical theme used by Rumi in his poem is love and friendship, which is why his works have been so impressive.

The Masnavi is an extensive poem written in Persian by Jalal al-Din Muhammad Balkhi, also known as Rumi. 

Rumi's lovers and many tourists from different cities of Türkiye, Iran, Azerbaijan, Japan, America, Spain, India, and other countries of the world travel to Konya city to visit Rumi's tomb.

Some Turkish, Arab, English-speaking, and Persian-speaking tourists talked to Iran Press on the sidelines of visiting Rumi's tomb in Konya and told about their love for this Iranian poet who traveled to Konya from a long distance.

The 8th of Mehr (in the Persian Calendar) or 30 September is named in the calendar of the Islamic Republic of Iran as the day of commemorating Mawlavi.

Rumi is known as Mawlana Mevlana and in Iran also as Molavi.

Maulana Jalaluddin Muhammad Balkhi, a renowned Persian-speaking poet and mystic who was a contemporary of Shams Tabrizi, is the author of works such as "Mathnavi" and "Fieh Ma Fieh" (It Is What It Is). 

The Fihi Ma Fihi means "It Is What It Is" and is a Persian prose work of  Rumi. The book has 72 short discourses.

Rumi is one of the famous scholars in the field of mysticism and one of the most famous Persian-speaking Iranian poets.

Masnavi Manavi is the most critical work of Molavi. This poetry collection has six volumes and twenty-seven thousand verses. Many consider Masnavi Manavi one of the greatest works of mystical poetry.

The collection of Rumi's Ghazals (Lyrics or Sonnet) is about 2,500 Lyrics. 

In the end, and most of them, Molana did not mention his surname and took the name of Shams Tabrizi.

This collection is also known as "Diwan Shams."

Shams Tabrizi or Shams al-Din Mohammad (1185–1248) was a Persian poet credited as the spiritual instructor of Mewlana and is referenced with great reverence in Rumi's poetic collection, in particular Diwan  Shams  Tabrizi (The Works of Shams of Tabriz).

Tradition holds that Shams taught Rumi in seclusion in Konya for forty days before fleeing for Damascus. The tomb of Shams-i Tabrizi was recently nominated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Rumi passed away at the age of 63. HisTomb is located in Konya, Türkiye, and is an exciting place for tourists and lovers of world poetry and literature.
