Iran Press/Iran news: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press on Sunday at the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Deputy commander of Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps' Sarallah Headquarters Mohammad Esmail Kowsari said that as long as martyred lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani was alive, he kept on his hard-work against the enemies, and indeed he was man of his word and he acted upon it.
"His companions will continue his path in the Resistance Front and the successes will continue so that Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani and his companions' souls will be at rest and peace," he said.
The US authorities announced that under Donald Trump's order the US drones targeted Baghdad international airport on Friday to assassinate General Soleimani and al-Muhandis.
Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani was assassinated along with several senior members of Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) on Friday Morning 3 January at Baghdad International airport.
Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani was awarded by Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei as the first Iranian military official to hold Iran’s highest military order, the Order of Zulfaqar after the 1979 Islamic Revolution. 104/219
