Iran Press/ Africa: Ugandan academist Adam Sebyala, also an author has described the late commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Quds Force, Gen. Qasem Soleimani as an ideology that will never die for many years to come.
Speaking to Iran Press in Kampala, Adam said that Gen. Qasem Soleimani was broadly admired as a champion of peace for all his efforts in the fight against terrorism in the Middle East.
“In principle, nations that forget their matters will perish. That is one, or two. Imam Khomeini had written in his last testament, the last sentence in the testament that peace be upon you and all the oppressed worldwide. And the leadership in Iran sent its son, Qassem Soleimani, to fight for freedom, to fight for freedom of the oppressed, as the imam had asked in his last will,” he said.
“He was a freedom fighter. And freedom fighters cannot be called terrorists because they are even protected by international law. Nations under occupation have the right to defend themselves and to fight for freedom,” he added.
“Qassem Soleimani tops those who fought for freedom. He tops the group where Che Guevara belongs. All his practices are likened to that of Che Guevara, who was born in Argentina, fought for the freedom of Cuba and the freedom of Congo, and died in Bolivia outside his country, fighting for the freedom of people and nations outside his country,” Adam Sebyala explained.
“This is where Qassem Soleimani belongs. And that's what he did. Fighting for the freedom of the Yazidis who were being slaughtered by ISIS, the Christians who were being slaughtered by ISIS in the Middle East. And I remember when he was assassinated, Palestinians in prisons of Israel cried."
This tells you a lot, that he was the hope of all those who are in prisons of the occupiers. That's why the Yazidis and the Christians cried in the Middle East, because he is the one who liberated them from the tyranny of terrorism, the champion who fought terrorism cannot be killed on accusation of terrorism. The anti-terror cannot be a terrorist. That one contradicts the reasons the American gave for his murder, he emphasized.
“Therefore, Qassem Soleimani is the hope for the restoration of the Middle. The Middle East restoration to dignity, the restoration of hope in the hopeless Middle East,” Dr Adam Sebyala stressed.
