Iran Press/ Iran News: Lefour Dam is located at Lefour region of Savadkooh in Mazandaran Province. The dam is also known as either Alborz Dam or Ayatollah Salehi Dam and is considered as the biggest earthfilled dam of the country.
Lefour lake and dam are both located in a village with the same name. The lake supplies the water of the villages located in the adjacent cites such as Babol, Babolsar, Qaemshahr and Juybar.
Lefour jungle is also a part of old Hirkani forests, and it is considered a calm place due to its divers vegetation and clean air. Consequently it is recommended to those who seek tranquility in nature.
