Iran Press/ Middle East: According to a statement by the Lebanese presidency, President Michel Aoun and Prime Minister-designate Najib Mikati signed a decree in Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri to form the new government.
Earlier on Friday, two sources close to the Lebanese presidency said that Mikati would propose forming a new government to Aoun at the Baabda Presidential Palace in Beirut on Friday noon.
According to Al-Manar TV Chanel, the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, Mahmoud Makiya, read out the decree to form the government, which included:
