Tehran (IP) - The Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei during his visit to the Tehran Book Fair, addressed the Iranian publishers, noting: "To attract children and teenagers, you must work as much as you can in terms of quantity and quality".

Iran PressIran news: Ayatollah Khamenei paid a visit to the 34th Tehran International Book Fair on Sunday morning while in Tehran Grand Mosque. During this visit, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution talked with publishers and activists in the field of books and, and was briefed about the latest news in publishing.

Ayatollah Khamenei said during his visit to the exhibition: "To attract children and teenagers, work as much as you can in terms of quantity and quality."

The Leader also noted: "Foreign stories related to children still dominate the children's books, which is a great disadvantage."

It should be mentioned that this important cultural and international event has been held since 1987 during the presidency of Ayatollah Khamenei, and after that, the Leader paid a visit to the book fair in most of the years of its holding. The visit of the Leader of the revolution to the 34th international book fair was done after three years and due to the end of the corona restrictions on the fifth day of this fair.

The Leader last visited the book fair in May 2018 before the outbreak of Corona.
