A kite festival has been held in the historic Golestan garden in Iran's Lorestan Province, on the occasion of auspicious ten-day-dawn-celebrations marking the 40th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution.

Iran Press/Iran news: 500 students from schools in Khoram Abad, the provincial capital of Lorestan, took part in the festival.

The festival is aimed at introducing Lorestan province's cultural heritage and handicrafts to kids and teenagers.
