The 700-kg cake was baked by the confectioners in Kermanshah to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran.

Iran Press/ Iran news: The 700-kg cake which is 30 meters long was unveiled by Kermanshah Department of trade on Friday.

According to the Iran Press international news agency, the cake was made to mark the 40th anniversary of the glorious Islamic Revolution victory.

The governor of Kermanshah together with other high ranking officials of the province attended the event to show their solidarity and unity with the goals and causes of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Forty years ago, Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, was welcomed back to Tehran after more than 14 years in exile.

His arrival intensified popular protests against the US-backed Pahlavi regime, leading to its downfall ten days later.105/203
