Iran Press/ Iran News: Nasser Kanaani tweeted that the US expressed concern about the trip by the Iranian president to Syria and its results.
"Of course, the annoyance of a malicious regime, whose horn is in Syria and the whole region has been broken by Iran and the resistance axis, and it must end its aggressive presence in Syria, is natural," he noted.
The spokesman also underlined: "Be angry and die of this anger."
US State Department Deputy Spokesman Vedant Patel allegedly claimed at a briefing that the deepening ties between the two countries should be a source of worry for the international community.
President Raisi, heading a high-ranking delegation, traveled to Damascus as the first chief executive of Iran, who visits Syria from the onset of the crisis in the Arab country in 2011.
