Iran Press/ Iran news: The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran, Nasser Kanaani, while appreciating the government and nation of Iraq for hosting the pilgrims of Arbaeen Hosseini again, said: This year's Arbaeen strengthened the bond, friendship, and brotherhood of the two nations of Iran and Iraq.
Yesterday (Saturday), 20 Safar 1444 AH (September 17, 2022), was the Arbaeen of the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (AS), the third Imam of the Shi'as of the world and his faithful companions in the desert of Karbala.
Every year, with the arrival of Arbaeen Hosseini, millions of pilgrims from all over the world, including the Islamic Republic of Iran, enter the city of Karbala in southern Iraq to attend the Arbaeen Hosseini (PBUH) ceremony.
In this regard, and according to the Iran press, Nasser Kanaani Chafi, the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, on Sunday and following the Arbaeen Hosseini procession, on his page on Instagram, pointed out that even the two-year break due to the coronavirus has not prevented the formation of the vast and popular movement of Arbaeen.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran spokesman also said that the world's largest gathering brought millions of people together on the same path towards a holy destination and stated: This year's Arbaeen strengthened the bond, friendship, and brotherhood of the two nations of Iran and Iraq.
Kanaani Chafi expressed gratitude to the government and nation of Iraq as the worthy hosts of the great Arbaeen Hosseini congregation and noted:
Every year, the dear Iraqi nation provides all its facilities to Iranian and non-Iranian pilgrims of Seyyed al-Shohada (the lord of the martyrs) (PBUH), which shows the depth of faith and sincerity of the great Iraqi nation.
