Iran Press/Iran news: According to the IRGC’s Monday statement, following the spread of the Coronavirus in some areas of the country, Major General Hossein Salami made a phone call to Saeed Namaki and announced the Corps' readiness to provide any assistance possible in the fight against coronavirus and to prevent a widespread outbreak.
The Chief Commander of IRGC described the role of the Basij volunteer forces in the implementation of the National Polio Vaccination Plan as a very successful experience that could be used as a model.
“In addition to educational measures to prevent the outbreak, all of IRGC’s health complexes, including the University of Medical Sciences, hospitals, medical centers, and the medical community are ready to provide services and assistance in the fight against coronavirus until conditions are back to normal,” Salami concluded.
Iranian authorities have adopted numerous measures in a bid to contain the spread of the disease.
