Iran Press/Iran news: Brigadier-General Ali Akbar Pourjamshidian, Deputy Chief of the IRGC Ground Forces for Coordination said on Wednesday morning at the ceremony of donating livelihood assistance and inaugurating the deprivation development projects, which was held at the headquarters of the IRGC Ground Forces: “3104 development projects, including the construction of 773 residential units, donation of 1,470 series of dowries and the distribution of 1,700,000 livelihood packages were among plans and actions aiming at embodying anti-poverty program that was done today."
He added: "The IRGC ground force is proud to do their best in order to establish lasting security in the country's borders, especially against the insurgents and Takfiris."
Brigadier-General Pourjamshidian explained further: “This force considers it its duty to solve the problem of the deprived and in recent years has taken significant measures in the border provinces, so on the eve of the anniversary of the martyrdom of Martyr Soleimani, the IRGC Ground Force is showing the outstanding characteristics of this great martyr who has been after helping the deprived and oppressed people in the region and has implemented anti-poverty projects in his name."
The top general noted: "The construction of 773 residential units, the delivery of 1470 series of dowries to the young people of the border provinces is one of the most important parts of this large deprivation elimination plan; Also in this ceremony, the key of the constructed residential unit was symbolically presented to two people."
He said: "More than 1.700.000 million livelihood and health packages have been distributed in different provinces of the country since the beginning of COVID-19 outbreak, including the provinces of West Azerbaijan, Kurdistan, Kermanshah, Khorasan Razavi, South Khorasan, Sistan and Baluchestan, Hormozgan and Khuzestan in recent months."
The official stated: "Other implemented projects include the construction and completion of mosques, the construction of rural roads, the construction and repair of rural water supply schools, the dredging of canals and rivers, the construction of outdoor sports complex, a fish pond."
