Iran Press/ Iran News: Welcomed by Khuzestan's people, the funeral procession of Martyred Abu Mehdi al-Muhandis was held on Tuesday. The funeral procession started in the city of Abadan and made its way to the near-by city of Khorramshahr, and finally to Shalamcheh International Border.
The body of fallen hero and martyred Abu Mahdi al-Mohandis was transferred to Basra province, in southern Iraq, through Shalamcheh Border, after a massive funeral in Khuzestan province.
A US drone strike, order by Donald Trump, assassinated the Iranian-Iraqi popular commander Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis along with Lieutenant-General Qassem Soleimani, the head of the IRGC Quds Force, and a number of his companions on Friday 3 January 2020, in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.
