Iraqi Popular mobilization forces arrest one of ISIS leaders

Iraqi Popular mobilization forces (also known as Hashed al-Shaabi) said in a statement that the group's Nineveh Operations Command has carried out a successful operation to arrest an ISIS leader operating outside Iraq.

Martyred Abu Mahdi al-Mohandes, the deputy of Hashed al-Sha'abi, along with Lieutenant General Soleimani, played an important role in clearing the country of ISIS.

Iraqi Hezbollah Battalions issued a statement Saturday 22 February appointing Abdulaziz al-Mohammadawi as the deputy head of the Iraqi Hezbollah organization in place of late martyred Abu Mahdi al-Mohandes, the statement also emphasized the support for the organization and its new deputy as it is needed to counter ISIS. 

Martyred Lieutenant General Soleimani was assassinated along with several senior members of Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) on Friday Morning 3 January at Baghdad International airport.
