Iran Press/ Middle East: The Spokesman of the Iraqi Army Joint Operations Command said the US-Iraq Joint Committee announced January 31 would be the deadline for the US troops' presence in Iraq, based on the results of a strategic dialogue between the two countries.
Tahsin al-Khafaji said: "Following the agreement, a large number of the US troops began leaving Iraq".
Al-Khafaji noted that the US forces had settled in no more military bases in Iraq but Ein al-Assad and al-Hariri bases which were respectively under the control of Iraqi Army Command and Kurdistan Region's Peshmerga forces.
