Iran Press/Iran news: The spokesman for the Guardian Council Abbasali Kadkhodaie in an exclusive interview with Iran Press reacted to the new round of sanctions imposed by the US Department of Treasury against some of the Iranian political figures especially some of the members of Iran's Guardian Council and stated that the US is accustomed to such measures.
Iran's top official elaborated that the US in the past 41 years has always had taken the same approach toward Iranian nations' interests.
Referring to the assassination of the martyrdom of Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani, Kadkhodaie highlighted that the incident could not be forgotten by the people of the world.
"Iranians' turnout at the polling stations will serve as the crushing response to the enemies as well as the global arrogance," he concluded.
The Iranian Parliament, officially known as the Islamic Consultative Assembly, is a 290-seat legislative body with 207 constituencies. Its members are elected every four years, and former and current members can be re-elected.
On the other hand, the Assembly of Experts of the Leadership is a deliberative body of 88 theologians tasked with choosing the Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Members of the assembly are elected every eight years.
