Iran Press/Iran News: Foreign Ministers of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Uzbekistan discussed bilateral relations on Thursday, especially the situation of transport between the two countries.
During the telephone conversation, Mohammad Javad Zarif referred to the country's recent floods, extending his sympathy with the Uzbek government and people whose lives been affected by the flood.
Cooperation between Tehran and Tashkent in bilateral relations, dealing with the coronavirus outbreak and developments in Afghanistan were other topics discussed by the Iranian and Uzbek Foreign Ministers.
The Presidents of Iran and Uzbekistan, Hassan Rouhani, and Shavkat Mirziyoyev, also spoke on Wednesday in a telephone conversation, stressing on expanding relations between the two countries.
