Hormozgan (IP) - Iranian tourist showed powerful performance by swimming across Hormuz Strait in five days.

Iran Press/Iran news: Iranian tourist and sportsman, Mohammad Amiri Roodan who is from Hormozgan Province, swam from Khasab in Oman to Bandar Abbas in Iran on Tuesday.

The Iranian tourist swam the width of Hormuz Strait, 120 kilometers, to mark the National Day of the Persian Gulf, Iran Press reported.

"Commemorating the National Day of the Persian Gulf, introducing its islands and shores' potentials and also praising the accent and the clothing of people of Hormozgan Province in the Persian Gulf has inspired me to do the job," the Iranian tourist noted.

Roodan has undertaken long-distance swimming and cycling tours in more than 70 Asian and European's countries in the past.

His future plan is to travel around the world by bicycle. 101/211/201
