Iran Press/Iran: Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said in an interview with IRIB News Agency on Sunday that Yemen is a chance for Saudi Arabia to redeem itself and correct past errors by stopping the crimes it is committing in that country.
Amir-Abdollahian added: "Iran's foreign policy in the past four decades was sending this message to Saudi rulers that Iran and Saudi Arabia as two important countries in the region can solve their problems and contribute to peace, stability and sustainable security in the region," Iran Press reported.
He added: "Iran is the positive side, and Saudi Arabia is the negative side. Iran has led the fight against terrorism in the region."

Amir-Abdollahian reiterated: "Nowadays, the harsh policy of Saudis is centred on hostility towards independent states and free nations of the region and recognition of aggressors like the Zionist regime of Israel."
He continued: "The strategic mistake of the Saudi crown prince, Mohammad Bin Salman was his recent remarks in support of the Zionist regime and attacks on Palestinians, and Saudi Arabia will break up in the future based upon a Zionist-American plan."
The senior advisor and former deputy foreign minister added that Iran never welcomes the disintegration of Islamic countries like Iraq, Syria, Egypt, Saudi Arabia or any other Islamic country.

He also expressed hope that Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates stop their disastrous military aggression in Yemen which has now lasted for four years.
Saudi Arabia and its regional allies attacked Yemen in March 2015 to bring back to power the deposed president, Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi.
A number of Western countries, the United States and Britain in particular, supplied the Saudi regime with advanced weaponry and military equipment as well as logistical and intelligence assistance.
Since then, the invaders have committed horrible war crimes against Yemeni civilians.
