Tehran (IP) - The Speaker of Iran's Parliament Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf delivered a speech before leaving Tehran for an official visit to the UAE to discuss expanding strategic ties.

Iran PressIran news:  Before his departure to UAE on Thursday, Ghalibaf said the visit would take place at the formal invitation of the Emirati Federal National Parliament in order to promote parliamentary ties besides political and economic relations.  

Ghalibaf referred to the expansion of political and economic comprehensive relations with the neighboring countries in a sustainable peace environment as well as the establishment of domestic security by the regional countries.

Still, he said that the trip is an opportunity to examine the past projects and assess their progress and an opportunity for the agreements ahead, which he hoped would lead to a turning point in Tehran-Abu Dhabi.
