A faculty member of Iran's Royan Research Institute, affiliated with Jihad University, awarded at the BRICS Women’s Accelerator in Healthcare and Medicine for her innovative concept of an immune cell bank designed to treat cancer and autoimmune diseases.

Iran Press/Europe:  The competition took place in Moscow from October 17 to 20, 2024, highlighting the contributions of female entrepreneurs in the healthcare sector.

In her acceptance, Dr. Marzieh Ebrahimi emphasized the importance of advancing medical technology for sustainable development. The BRICS Women’s Accelerator focuses on identifying and supporting high-potential female-led startups, enhancing their role in the entrepreneurial landscape.

The BRICS Women's Accelerator aims to identify and promote the most effective female-led startups with commercial and innovative potential within BRICS nations. The competition also seeks to motivate female entrepreneurs to expand their participation in entrepreneurial activities.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian delivered a virtual speech at the event, highlighting the BRICS Business Council as a significant initiative for advancing economic and trade cooperation, facilitating stronger ties, and fostering diverse networking opportunities.
