Iranian navy's Sahand destroyer has entered Saint Petersburg to participate in the Russian Navy Day parade.

Iran PressEurope: The locally manufactured Sahand destroyer along with the Makran support ship after sailing the North Sea and the Gulf of Finland has arrived in Saint Petersburg and will take part in the parade of the Russian Navy on Sunday, July 25.

According to Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu, 54 warships from different countries, including the Islamic Republic of Iran, will take part in the parade.

This year, the fifth parade of the Russian Navy in the contemporary history of the country (30 years after the collapse of the Soviet Union), will be held on the 125th anniversary of the establishment of the Russian military fleet, the Russian Defense Minister said.
