Iran Press/ Europe: Upon arrival at the Sheremetyevo International Airport in Moscow, Ali-Asghar Mounsan told reporters: "According to the document, which we will sign in a meeting with the head of the Russian Federal Tourism Agency, tourists from the two countries will travel to Iran and Russia through reputable tourism companies and with group visas."
He stated that following the signing of the document, 'visa-free travel for group tours' would be implemented between the two countries.
He noted that a memorandum of cooperation would be signed between the Niavaran Museum of Iran and the Pushkin Museum of Russia during his visit.
According to Mounesan, flights between the two countries will increase with the abolition of group visas.
"There is currently no plan to cancel individual visas between the two countries," he added.
The group visa waiver agreement between the two countries was signed on March 28, 2017, in Moscow, but it was necessary to set up a joint action plan to specify the implementation process.
The joint action plan of the two countries has been prepared for the three-year period 2020-2022, which can be extended and revised.
