Iran Press/Asia: On the fourth day of the competitions underway in Baku of Azerbaijan, the Iranian pistol team – Javad Foroughi, Mohammad-Rasoul Effati, and Sajjad Pour-Hosseini – defeated the Italian team 16-10, snatching the gold medal of the competitions.
Germany's team also defeated its Uzbek rival, won the bronze medal and stood in second place.
Baku Shooting World Cup 2022 kicked off on May 29 in rifle, pistol, and shotgun categories.
The event is underway until June 8. Iran has sent 22 athletes to the sports event.
