Iran's girls' Taekwondo team won the championship of the Asian junior competitions, and Iran's boys' team became the runner-up.

Iran PressMiddle East: Hosted by Lebanon, the fifth edition of the Asian Taekwondo Championship, called “Beirut Open,” ended on Friday with the championship of the girls' team and the runner-up of the Iranian boys' team."

The competitions started on Wednesday with the participation of 213 taekwondo players from 23 countries. 

Iranian taekwondo girls won the first place with five gold, two silver, and one bronze medals, and the Kazakhstan and South Korea teams stood in the second and third places.

The Iranian boys' team was second with three gold, two silver, and two bronze medals. The South Korean team stood first, and Jordan third.

Mahbobeh Mohammadnejad, the head coach of Iran's girls' team, was introduced as the best coach in Asia by the tournament's organizing committee.
