Iran Press/Iran News: Speaking at a video conference with the chairman of the Yemeni National Salvation Government's negotiating team and spokesman for the Ansarullah movement Mohammad Abdulsalam late Saturday, Ali-Asghar Khaji described the solution to the political crisis based on the cessation of war, complete lifting of Yemen's air, sea and land siege and resumption of the Yemeni- Yemeni Dialogue.
Abdulsalam, for his part, thanked Iran for its humanitarian assistance and political and spiritual support to the Yemeni people, stressing the readiness of the National Salvation Government to reach a fair political agreement, and explained the latest political developments in Yemen to the Iranian side.
In a telephone conversation with Russia's Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Vershinin on April 29, the Iranian Foreign Ministry's Senior Aide for Political Affairs also spoke about the latest developments in Yemen.
Thousands of Yemenis have died in Saudi Arabia's invasion of Yemen since 2015, and according to the United Nations, the famine in this country has become the biggest humanitarian catastrophe in the world.
