Iran Press/ Middle East: Nazanin Fatemeh Eidian made history and claimed a gold medal, breaking the record of the women's junior 400m hurdles in Asia.
Eidian ranked first in the Asian tournament in the women's 400m hurdles, ending in 1.01.03.
Kazakhstan and Taipei after Iran ranked second and third, respectively.
Earlier, on the first day of 2022, the 4th Asian Field and Track Championship, in hammer throw field the Iranian team's Melika Nowrouzi recorded 57.84-meter throw, and stood second after her Korean competitor, to win the silver medal.
Also, the Iranian team's Mahdis Minaipour recorded 54.02-meter through, ranked 3rd, and won the bronze medal.
The 2022 Asian Field and Track Championship is being held in Kuwait City on October 13-17.
