Iran Press/Europe: The competition, which began last Friday (November 29) in the city of Nadym, Russia, featured 110 boxers from various countries, including Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, Armenia, Belarus, and Iran.
In the final bouts, Iranian athletes delivered outstanding performances. Mehdi Roozbehani won the gold medal in the 48 kg weight category, while Mohammad Saleh Moshabahi claimed gold in the 80+ kg division. Sahand Najafi earned a silver medal in the 50 kg category, and Ashkan Hashemi won silver in the 63 kg weight class.
This strong showing highlights the growing prowess of Iranian boxers on the international stage.
