Iran Press/ Iran news: The 54th Congress of the World Archery Federation was held in the United States on Saturday, and Zahra Nemati from Iran was elected as a member of the Para-Archery Committee of the World Archery Federation.
Zahra Nemati claimed the gold medal in the 2020 Paralympic Games.
It was a glorious journey for Nemati as she obtained her third consecutive individual Paralympic Games gold medal after taking the women’s individual recurve on Thursday, 2 September.
The Iranian got her first individual gold in W1/W2 in London 2012 and in the individual recurve - open at Rio 2016.
Now she has another platform – being voted one of six on the IPC Athletes’ Council during Tokyo 2020 – to make an impact beyond archery.
