Iran’s Petroleum Minister Bijan Zangeneh in a letter to his Saudi counterpart said that OPEC in its recent meeting did not authorize any members to increase oil output beyond their defined quotas.

In the letter addressed to the Saudi Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources Khalid A. Al-Falih, he said ratifications in the 174TH OPEC summit are very important indicating the commitments of the members to OPEC's goals.

In the summit, all sides vowed to remain committed to OPEC's quota, Zangeneh said.
