New York (IP) - Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran met and consulted with the Vatican's Foreign Minister in New York.

Iran PressAmerica: Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, today (Sunday) met and talked with the Vatican's Secretary for Relations with States Paul Gallagher in New York.

According to Iran Press, Amir-Abdollahian, traveled to New York to participate in the 78th General Assembly session of the United Nations along with President Ebrahim Raisi, and on the seventh day of his visit continued intensive diplomatic consultations with Archbishop Gallagher.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran has met with the officials of different countries and his counterparts in New York.
