(IP)- The Iranian and Emirati foreign ministers discussed the latest developments in Palestine in a call on Wednesday.

Iran PressIran news:  The war crimes of the Zionist regime were another term of discussion between the Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and his Emirati counterpart Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Prior to the Emirati foreign minister, in line with condemning the war crimes in the Gaza Strip, and the cut order over water, food, and electricity by Zionists, Iran's Amir-Abdollahian held calls with his Egyptian, Russian, and Kuwaiti counterparts.

Expressing Iran's concern over the complete siege of the Gaza Strip, the Iranian foreign minister held calls with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) President Mirjana Spoljaric Egger on Wednesday.

Iranian diplomat called the massive bombardment of the residential areas, and the cut order, as "systematic war crimes against humanity".

The continuation of the current situation will worsen the condition, which is on the shoulders of the Israeli regime, according to Amir-Abdollahian.

Referring to the alarm-raising number of the Palestinians' death toll, Iranian officials called for an urgent OIC meeting.

Stressing the necessity of convergence with the Palestinian nation, bin Zayed Al Nahyan, for his part, reminded the UN and the ICRC of their responsibilities to establish safe paths for the injured people to be transferred.

The Emirati counterpart said the Palestine issue will be discussed in the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organisation of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
