Ali Shamkhani, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) is scheduled to deliver a speech at a security conference slated to be held in Sochi, Russia.

The event is scheduled to be held with the attendance of senior security officials from 5 continents on April 25-26.

Shamkhani is to elaborate on security conditions, political and economic development in the region and Iran’s strategies and experiences as regard fighting terrorist and security threats, Head of SNSC Media Department Alireza Zarifian said.

Reviewing international crises and development of tactics and strategies adopted by international terrorist organizations are on the agenda of the first day of the event, he said. 

During the second day, international information security, global responses to international challenges, production and distribution of narcotics and threatening international peace and stability will be discussed by participants, he added.

Shamkhani is also scheduled to hold bilateral and multilateral talks with other officials to promote joint political, military and security initiatives.
