Iran Press/ Asia: 'Abbas Badakhshan Zohori' stated in an interview with Iran Press reporter in Yerevan that one of the important priorities of the Iranian administration in the past year has been the expansion of relations with its neighbors, and Iranian embassies are obliged to identify opportunities for cooperation.
The Iranian ambassador in Yerevan pointed out that Armenia is one of Iran's friendly countries and if Iranian businessmen know more about Armenia's economic capacities, the level of economic and commercial cooperation between the two countries will also increase.
Referring to the visit of the trade and economic delegation of East Azarbaijan province to Yerevan and meeting with Armenian businessmen, Badakhshan Zohori stated that East Azarbaijan province has good economic, commercial and industrial capacities and by recognizing the capacities of Armenia, economic cooperation between the two sides will expand.

The economic conference of Iran and Armenia was held two days ago in Yerevan with the presence of the business delegation of East Azarbaijan Province, the Union of Armenian Industrialists, and the cooperation of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
About 30 Iranian companies from East Azerbaijan province and 30 Armenian companies were present at this economic conference.
Iranian companies introduced their capabilities in the fields of construction materials, food, carpets, medicine, and tourism at the Yerevan Economic and Commercial Conference.
With its special geographical location, Armenia can be the gateway for Iranian goods to enter the 180 million market of the Eurasian Economic Union.
