Tehran (IP) - President Raisi has emphasized the full implementation of the Tehran-Damascus agreements, especially in the economic and commercial sectors.

Iran PressIran News: Ebrahim Raisi met with three Syrian ministers visiting Tehran to follow up on the implementation of joint agreements reached between the two countries.

Raisi referred to the agreements reached during his May trip to Damascus and emphasized the full implementation of the agreements made during this trip, especially in the economic and commercial sectors.

The Iranian president hailed the historical resistance of the Syrian government and people against seditions and 12-year all-out aggression against the Arab country.

He described the important message of the meeting between the leaders of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Syria in Damascus as a great victory for the movement and approach of resistance, and said, "I hope in addition to the full implementation of the agreements, in the near future we will see the further development of relations between the two countries."

For his part, Syrian Foreign Minister Faisal Mekdad called the simultaneous visit of 3 Syrian ministers to the Islamic Republic of Iran an initiative of President Bashar al-Assad to show the depth of strategic relations between the two countries.

While presenting a detailed report on the latest developments in this country, the Syrian foreign minister also considered the path of the united resistance by Iran and Syria as a shining manifestation of the commonality of the two countries and stated that the axis of resistance led by the Islamic Republic of Iran showed that it can thwart any conspiracy against the region.

The ministers of economy and foreign trade and communications and technology of Syria also presented a report on the latest measures taken in the implementation of agreements in various fields.
