Iran Press/ Middle East: Saeed Khatibzadeh called the brutal act a repetition of the vicious terrorist scenarios in Iraq, which embittered the oppressed people of Iraq on the eve of Eid al-Adha.
Announcing the condolences of the government and people of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Iraqi people and government, Khatibzadeh wished divine mercy and forgiveness to the victims of the tragedy and good health to the injured and stressed the readiness of the Islamic Republic of Iran to cooperate with the Iraqi government to counter terrorist moves.
