Iran Press/ Iran News: A far-right group in Denmark also burned a copy of the Quran in front of the Iraqi embassy in Copenhagen after a Swedish-Iraqi national desecrated the Holy Quran for the second time in the last few weeks on Thursday (July 20).
"Nasser Kanaani Chafi," the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran, said on Saturday: "From the Islamic Republic of Iran's point of view, the Danish government is responsible for preventing insults to the Holy Quran and Islamic sanctities, as well as prosecuting and punishing the insulters, and in this regard, the public opinion of the Islamic world is waiting for the practical action of the Danish government."
The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran emphasized once again the unity of Islamic states and nations and all followers of heavenly religions to effectively deal with any attack on the Holy Quran and the sanctities of Abrahamic religions anywhere in the world, adding: "Despite the evil intentions of the designers behind the curtain of insulting the sanctities and values of more than 2 billion Muslims in the world, free thinkers and rights seekers of the world stand unanimously against this evil sedition and hateful actions and in the shadow of vigilance, unity, and cohesion, the real violators of rights Humans will be disgraced and regretted."
Kanani Chafi, referring to the ongoing efforts in the Islamic world to hold accountable those who have attacked Islamic sanctities, stated: "The Islamic Republic of Iran, while continuing its contacts and dialogues with Islamic countries, will continue its actions and efforts to deal with the ignorance of the 21st century, which targets human dignity and authentic freedom of expression in the shadow of false Western freedom of expression."
On Thursday (July 20), for the second time in the last few weeks, "Salvan Momika," an Iraqi-Swedish citizen, insulted the Holy Quran with the support of the Swedish police. A violent action that brought the reaction of Muslim countries.
