Tehran (IP) - The head of the Iran-Ghana Parliamentary Friendship Group says Iran-Ghana cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, agriculture and medicine is in the interest of the people of the two countries.

Iran Press/Iran news: Abolfazl Amouei, Chairman of the Iran-Ghana Parliamentary Group, in a meeting with Eric Owusu-Boateng, Ambassador of the Republic of Ghana to Tehran, stated that the development of relations with African countries is one of the important principles of Iran's foreign policy.

Iran-Ghana Parliamentary Friendship Supports the strengthening of friendly relations between the two sides in the parliamentary, political, and economic spheres, he added.

Eric Owusu-Boateng, Ambassador of the Republic of Ghana in Tehran, also said: "Boosting the relations with Iran is important for the Republic of Ghana. We always welcome strengthening political, parliamentary, economic, medical, scientific and educational cooperation and transferring various experiences with Iran."
