Tehran (IP) - The first vice president of the Islamic Republic of Iran went to Minsk, the capital of Belarus, at the official invitation of the Prime Minister of Belarus.

Iran PressIran news: Meeting with the President, Prime Minister and Speaker of the Parliament of Belarus is one of the one-day trip plans of Mohammed Mokhber, the first vice president of the Islamic Republic of Iran, to Minsk.

Bilateral talks between the high delegations of Iran and Belarus and the signing of several cooperation documents between Tehran and Minsk are among the other plans of this trip.

Belarus has always been on the list of Iran's friends and has not usually adopted a position that is contrary to Iran's interests. The positions of the two countries on regional and international issues are almost identical and common, and both countries want to create a multipolar world.

Although Belarus is not Iran's neighbor, it is under Western sanctions like Iran, and since it is located in the Eurasian region and has a close partnership with Russia, it is considered one of the countries that is on the way to deepening relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
