(IP)- The Islamic Republic of Iran's ambassador to Nigeria announced the inauguration of Iran's trade center in Nigeria.

The African market, which has high capabilities, presents an excellent opportunity for Iranian goods. Therefore, it is a top priority on Iran's foreign policy agenda.    

Pointing to Iran's trade center in Nigeria, Mohammed Alibak, the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Nigeria, Abuja, today (Sunday) announced the responsibility of this trade center in its first step for the Iran Booth in the Halal Expo Nigeria 2023 which will be held from 29-31 August at Landmark Event Centre, in Lagos.  

During a webinar between the Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture and The Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA), Alibak reported that trade between Iran and Nigeria had grown significantly over the past two years, going from $80 million to $150 million, which indicates a promising potential for further collaboration between the two nations in the commercial sector.
