Tehran(IP)- The second exhibition of Iran ITEX and businesses related to information and communication technology started at the Sharif University of Technology in Tehran.

Iran PressIran news:  Hassan Haddadpour, Vice President of Research and Technology of the Sharif University of Technology said: The Sharif University of Technology has had many activities in industry.

He added that the base of Sharif University hosts 600 businesses in the field of technology, which are active in various fields, including agriculture and medicine.

He stated that the country's manpower capacity is very suitable for reducing the gap between Iran's industry and the world, and expressed hope that these exhibitions will ultimately help to achieve the goal.

Also, Ehsan Arianyan, the head of the Research Institute of Communication, Technology, and Information, gave a summary of the activities of this research institute, from publishing books to providing various services and holding seminars and specialized meetings.

he explained the ways of cooperation with this research institute, including the recruitment of academic staff.

Arianyan added: The problem that new businesses in this field are facing is the necessary capital and support for startups.

Following the opening ceremony, the executive secretary of the exhibition, Mohammad Ali Rozitalab, also said: Information technology companies are one of the vital and important companies of the country and can help in recruitment.

Expressing his optimism about attracting investors, Rozitalab said: "Hopefully this will happen to startups as often as possible." What we do is connect startups and accelerators to each other.

He stated: Considering the high capacity of Sharif University, we decided to hold the second exhibition both in person and virtually. This year we have about 70 booths and 35 companies are present.

It is worth mentioning that by attending many educational workshops during the exhibition for free and attending the panel of lectures and startups for free, the possibility of attracting capital for startups and freelancers is possible for those interested.
