Tehran (IP) - The governor of the Central Bank of Iran (CBI), said that the country’s oil revenues had improved.

Iran PressIran news: At a meeting of the heads of missions of the Islamic Republic in neighboring countries, Ali Salehabadi regarded the expansion of economic and trade relations with neighbors as very important, vital, and strategically important, and added: "CBI does nIraot tamper with currency prices in the NIMA system, Iran's domestic Forex Management Integrated System (locally known as NIMA), and the agreement between the exporter and the importer determines the exchange rate in the system."

The CBI Governor, referring to the increase in hard currency earnings from oil and condensate exports, expressed hope that this trend would continue and improve until the end of the current calendar year, which began on March 21.

Salehabadi stated: "Good measures have been taken to liberalize the country's hard currency resources, which has increased the central bank's ability to manage the foreign currency market."
