Tehran (IP): The Commander of the Navy Force of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) announced the decisive readiness of the IRGC to defend the ideals and interests of the Islamic Revolution.

Iran PressIran news: On the occasion of the anniversary of the historic visit of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei to the IRGC Naval Command Headquarters in Bandar Abbas in 2011, the Commander of the IRGC Navy Force, Rear-Admiral Alireza Tangsiri said: “The Navy is ready to protect Islamic Iran in all areas, relying on its indigenous capabilities. The IRGC naval forces are ready to perform their duties to defend the interests of the Islamic Revolution in distant and regional waters.”

He added that maintaining the full independence of the Persian Gulf and Sea of Oman despite the presence of foreign countries was among the achievements of the IRGC Navy Force.
