Iran news: Pointing to the Leader's emphasis on the need to increase the accuracy of missiles, Brigadier General Amir Hatami said: "We were concerned that this would not be possible, but it happened in a short period of time, and the improvement in accuracy went beyond our expectations, thanks to the efforts of the soldiers of Velayat, Iran Press reported.
The Iranian defense minister who was talking at "Fourth Congress on expounding of defensive thoughts and ideas of the Leader of the Islamic revolution", said: "This congress indicates a kind of maturity and shows that we are actively looking to utilize the novel thoughts and ideas of our intellectuals, in particular the thoughts and ideas of the Leader with regards to defence and security.

In further remarks, Brigadier General Hatami said: "The number of research articles shows how much attention is being paid to the thoughts and ideas of the Leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and his every single viewpoint, almost all of them proving to be wise, accurate and profound."
Defence minister Hatami added: "Nowadays, we have to define and implement the Leader's thoughts and ideas on defence and security. This is important for posterity, because it shows how we navigated our way through difficulties, troubled waters, and ups and downs.

The "Fourth Congress on expounding of defensive thoughts and ideas of the Leader of the Islamic revolution" was held on Sunday morning with the presence of top commander of the Iranian Army, Major-General Seyyed Abdolrahim Mousavi, Defense Minister Brigadier General Amir Hatami, and Commander of the Iranian Army's Ground Forces, Brigadier General Kioumars Heydari.
Among the main topics of the congress are: defence with an eye on the future, strategic in-depth defence, Infiltration and ways of countering infiltration, spiritual empowerment, defensive readiness and Resistance economy with emphasis on the capabilities of the armed forces. 103/ 211 / 207
