Iran Press/ Iran news: Karim Hemmati, the head of the Iranian Red Crescent Society, explained the services and actions of the Red Crescent for Afghan refugees on the border with Iran, saying: "With the arrival of refugees coming from Afghanistan to Iran, the Ministry of Interior and all crisis management agents got prepared and necessary measures were taken."
The head of the Iranian Red Crescent Society added: "In this regard, the Red Crescent Society sent a number of tents, health and relief items and livelihood packages to the border areas."
Hemmati also said that people entering the border, both military and civilian, were settled in temporary places set up by the Iranian Red Crescent Society and then returned to their country at the discretion of official authorities inside Afghanistan.
The head of the Iranian Red Crescent Society also said: "Normal transactions and exchanges are taking place at the borders."
